The Door Wander Alert with portable chime is the easy way to monitor traffic in or out of a door or cabinet. 

The receiver is wireless. This means you can place it anywhere; on a table, on the wall, carry it on pocket or even on your belt like a 'pager'.

The receiver 'pager' can receive the signal up to 100 feet from the monitor.

This system will allow you to have 3 totally separate Wander Alert Systems in use in the same area because each system has a code that can be set uniquely to each alert and receiver. So you can monitor the front door with one unit and the back door with another. You can even set one to alert and another one to chime so you will know the difference between the doors being monitored. You can also turn the alert off when you don't want to be bothered.

For caregivers; use it to monitor one or many wanders at a time. A great solution to monitor small children.

Is The Wander Alert Easy To Install?

Sure, just a couple steps and in minutes you are ready to monitor the door or cabinet.

1. Attach the transmitter portion to the non-moving part of the door or cabinet that you want to monitor.

2. The small magnetic sensor is then attached close to the switch on the moving part of the door or cabinet.

For a permanent installation both pieces can be screwed in. For temporary and easily movable solution just use double sided tape to secure them in place.

3. When a door or cabinet is open and the magnet becomes separated from the switch a signal is sent to the receiver 'pager' unit.


The alert will be sent as long as the door or cabinet is open. Once the door or cabinet is closed the alert will stop.
